Home School Program

Professional, positive-reinforcement training for reactive dogs - done with you, not dumped on you.

Not every family has the time, energy, or emotional space to train consistently at home - and that’s okay.

The Home School Program is designed for dogs who learn best with hands-on guidance from a certified, accredited dog trainer and behaviourist, and for guardians who want steady progress without daily pressure.

I work directly with your dog during the week using ethical, force-free methods, then coach you so you feel confident maintaining and building on those skills.

Available within Inner West Sydney (approx. 20 minutes travel).

How does the Program work and Why?

How it works?

Programs run for 3 or 5 weeks, depending on your dog’s needs.

Session structure:

Each visit runs 45 minutes to 1 hour
You do not need to be home for Home School sessions
Once per week, we meet for a coaching session (you are present)

Weekly flow:

I work directly with your dog across the week, building skills and emotional regulation
In the coaching session, I guide you through:
- What we worked on that week
- How to handle situations confidently
- How to maintain and progress the training

Your dog learns first — so coaching feels clear, practical, and achievable.

Dogs with a history of human-directed aggression
Dogs who cannot be safely handled by a professional
Guardians seeking a quick fix without follow-through
Cases requiring a veterinary behaviourist referral first
