Run in collaboration with The Hound Lounge Camperdown and Annandale Animal Hospital; our group dog training classes cover a range of dog training topics and skills to help your dog master good behaviours at every stage of their life. Whether you have a boisterous new puppy, a curious adolescent dog, or a wilful older dog, we will surely have the right group dog training class for your dog.
The Benefits of Group Dog Training Classes
Improved Focus
When you choose to train your dog in a group setting, you’ll have the opportunity to really improve their focus around distractions.
Group dog training classes are filled with all sorts of new and exciting sights, sounds, scents, and friends for your dog to investigate. By teaching them to keep their focus on you while this excitement carries on around them, they’ll also learn how to stay focused despite all manner of other distractions. As a result, you’ll be able to better maintain control whenever you and your dog encounter other people or animals, new or interesting environments, high-reward treats or toys, and more.
Collaborative Learning
Another benefit of group training classes is the chance to learn collaboratively with other dog owners who share your goal of wanting a balanced, confident, and well-behaved pup.
By learning together, you’ll be able to share advice, learn from each other’s mistakes, and give each other the encouragement and motivation you need to succeed. From offering clever suggestions and asking insightful questions to simply sharing a relatable dog-owner story that makes you feel seen, your peers can be a wonderful asset when training your dog.
